Regularly referred to as Gods own county, we are very proud to be based in such a beautiful location. Yorkshire attracts a lot of positive attention and when you visit us at Cedar Retreats we know that you will understand why. There are a whole host of things to see and do, whether you are looking for a relaxing break or a romantic stay – filled with hot tubs and bubbles – we have the ideal location just waiting for you.
For those who want to leave their busy lives behind, we have an abundance of scenic walks in the countryside or alternatively, you can take a short drive up into the Dales where you can take in some breathtaking views across the moors. Quaint coffee shops and tea rooms are a-plenty and with towns and villages including Leyburn, Richmond, Bedale and Masham on the doorstep there are regular events taking place, often with a quirky twist!
When we designed the retreat we wanted to offer the tranquillity that a remote location offers but with the amenities close-by that we know our guests will rely on. The local village, West Tanfield, has a local shop, which stocks a range of products, and also two pubs that are regularly frequented by visitors staying with us. If you require a more extensive selection of goods, Ripon is approximately five-miles away.
Prices
Despite offering a selection of luxury lodges, all with private hot tubs, we try to ensure that our prices are competitive. For that reasons, rents start at just £495 for a lodge per week, subject to the size of the property and the time of year.
